Jordans right for now, Lebron can't compete with 5 rings and the fact that Kobe has proven to have a killer instinct time and time again. Due to age Lebron has more of an upside, No way MJ could go out there and say Lebron given their respective resumes, he'd look stupid and like a kobe hater. as a C's fan I can't stand Kobe but If Kobe were 25 all over again I'd rather have him on my team for the next 10-15 years than Lebron at this point.

not saying that at all, mark rypian isn't better than Dan Marino either, but these are team sports and Kobe was an importan part to the first 3 titles his team won. Kobe has said on many occasion he dosn't want to be "MJ" it may sound cliche but he's doing just that , he's won 3 rings as a "sidekick" and 2 as the leader. Have You watched any of his playoff games the last couple years? that dude knows when to step it up and take over games when it counts, he's a dead eye shooter even when the D is top notch on him, he's the best closer in the game bar none, and trust me I hate anyone in purple and gold. but I can remain objective. I agree with you that Lebron is the better all around player, but Kobe's shooting ablility and killer instinct makes up for the fact that LBJ is a better passer and rebounder, and the fact that he's won back to back titles dosn't hurt either. LeBron will be the best in the game, he just isn't there yet.

Lebron had a chance to go down as the greatest bball player of all time but he threw that away with his decision. You can't be great if you are afraid of a challenge. You can't be great if you can't handle pressure. You can't be great if you are a fuckin quitter. The man pretty much cut off his balls and admitted that he doesn't have what it takes to win a championship as the central piece of an organization. The man took the easy way to a title by becoming Wade's bitch. The man has no heart.

Kobe is the best player since Michael Jordan. We can stop all the stupid Lebron/MJ/Kobe comparisons. Lebron doesn't belong in the discussion anymore.


P.S Great players need help to win titles, but they don't jump ship from a team that had the best record in basketball to become someone else's sidekick. Did Jordan ask the Bulls to trade him to the Pistons when he got his ass kicked by them early in his career?

Well I'm convinced that you may be the dumbest motherfucker to ever post here. Jordan won six titles because he had Pippen and Grant/Rodman. Bird won three titles because he had McHale and Parish. Magic won five titles because he had Kareem and later Worthy. NOBODY in the NBA wins titles on their own. It just doesn't happen.
