That was one of the worst officiating jobs I can ever recall. That doesn't mean Seattle would have won though.

Refs miss shit all the time. They aren't perfect. Seattle still didn't win. Whoop de fucking doo.

It's a long overdue apology, and theres a great chance Seattle would have won if not for those two calls.
It's been a big deal for alot Seahawks fans since it happened. The Steelers still have the victory, but maybe hawks fans can move on.

Long time 'Hawk fan here, and it's bothered me for 4+1/2 years. Jerome Bettis winning the Super Bowl in his home town was too good of a story line for the NFL to ever let the Seahawks win that game. Let's not forget about the questionable interference call on Darryl Jackson's touchdown. That's a 4-point turnaround, plus another 4 points for a Steeler FG in place of Big Ben's "touchdown" and it's a totally different game.
