Your thoughts on the Vikes - Saints game Thursday night

Everybody knows that short of being the Vikings and blowing the NFC championship game with turnovers and the BTK killer not knowing how many men should be in the huddle, the Vikes would have won that game.
So what happens this year? I beleive Bert will be rusty, but Peterson will play pissed off and be just as good as he was in the championship game minus the fumbles I hope. I also think the Vikes defense will be very good. They did not lose a sinlge starter from last years team. The defensive line is the key to the game.
I think the Saints defense is pretty porous. Although without Sharper, they are probably better off. If they are allowed to beat up on Bert again after the whistle, they have a shot. The Vikes o-line is the weakness of their team, imo.
Of course the Saints offense will score points like always. Drew Brees is the man.
If the saints stop celebrating for 3 hours they may win this game.

The fumbles will be the thing that haunts that kid until he learns to knock it off.

The Vikes are going to have to, pardon the pun, weather the storm BIG TIME if they want to win in Nola. Crowd is going to be hungry and one deep ball from Brees to whichever receiver that turns out to be a TD could make it a tough deficit for the purple to come back from.
Either way, I hope the game is just like the NFC Championship.

I see NO rolling the Vikes. They're playing with swagger and the Vikes are playing with a QB who missed all of camp and a RB who has fumblitus on the brain. I'd rather see a close game, but I think the St.s are gonna win easily.

I think I'll be there at the Superdome - leaving tomorrow AM for an early flight.
Great long weekend in New Orleans, and will spend sunday drinking around the quarter watching NFL games.
As for the game, my gut says the Vikes will win. This will be the first game in a long time that really doesn't mean very much to the Saints, and I they might still be hungover from January.

Hopefully the Vikings don't turn the ball over and beat the Saints. I hate Brett Farve with a passion, but I hate the Saints 100 times more than that. God do I hate the Saints.

one of these two things is going to decide the outcome. i hope it's the first one.

Saints 35-21
Favre will have the Vikes driving down field with just under 2 minutes to go and trailing 28-21. He will then get into a 3rd & long and instead of taking the safe short route over the middle to set up 4th & inches he will throw deep down the sideline into triple coverage for a pick-6. 35-21. Game. Set. Match.
