Re: JETS! JETS! JETS!
I think they'll fix their offense somewhat, and you have to factor in that they were playing against one of the better defenses in the league. But that offense doesn't have the ability to make big plays and I can't see them being able to come back if they get down by a couple of TD's.
I think the game plan for their opponents would be to try to go for some quick strikes and put up a couple of quick scores and force them to play catch-up so they can't rely on ball control and defense.

I've never seen a team play as scared as that team played last night. They were afraid to take any chances...even with the game on the line at the end they didn't take any shots down field.

Kris Jenkins' season is over. You have to wonder about his career as well.
The New York Jets' nose tackle tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. It's the same knee that required reconstructive surgery last October, putting Jenkins' career in jeopardy

Word is Schottenheimer and Rex got into an "altercation" after the game.
While Schottenheimr DOES in fact suck, he is working with Mark Sanchez.
Could be a very early wake up call. Could be the beginning of a LONG season. We'll see.

I've been saying it for years, but Schottenheimer is a joke. He was terrible with Pennington, Clemens, Favre, and now Sanchez. I have no idea what Rex saw in him to keep him on as OC. 1-11 in 3rd down conversions is just plain embarassing
At least the defense showed up. Well, except for Cromartie who had more penalties than he has kids

The Ryans and offensive coordinators seem to have trouble getting along.Tommy wrote:Word is Schottenheimer and Rex got into an "altercation" after the game.

Remember when Buddy punched Kevin Gilbride in the face on the sidelines?

Welcome to Cromartie-ville.
