I dont really read deadspin, but what started the beef between these two?

From what I gather it's a love/hate relationship....Whitlock has been critical of the site, yet sometimes he champions it when arguing against really lame sports reporting. Deadspin in return loves to bust his balls about his weight and self-importance but respects him for going after the same lame reporters.

Some good stuff in there, but the best thing was that one of them was submitted by somebody named "sweatingmullets."

Boy, if ever there was a screenname for sludge...
