Dude they won the ultra competitive NL East, with such powerhouse teams as the Mets, Marlins, and the Nationals.
That's more impressive than the World Series, and should be celebrated as such.

Yeah, basketball is some bullshit. All you need to win anything twice in a row in that sport is the fucking refs on your side.
And I know the Phillies are on a fucking quest here. Great job down the stretch, for sure. Always happy to see the Braves not take it.

to see the champion celebrate this way was the great thing about it after a long playoff season in any sport.

I'm reasonably confident that they'll be breaking out the champagne again in a few more weeks. Kudos to the Phils. Here's hoping they keep rolling.
