oh yeah!!ParaDime77 wrote:He can claim all the racist bullshit he wants, I want to know what he going to say when it's the Lakers and the Celtics in the Finals?
Add Michael Jordan and Kobe to the haters. They're kinda black.makaveli wrote:Hmmmmmmm.....criticized by among others Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley......I could see where he'd draw that conclusion. Jesus....everytime one these illiterate black athletes get backed into a corner over something they've done, they play the race card to deflect any future criticism. It's sad and pathetic.

Yeah it counts for the fact that he has an excuse for destroying the psyche of a city and Cavs fans on live TV. He could have raised that money with half a dozen phone calls.Heenan Snuka wrote:Redman77 wrote:Spin it anyway you want to Queen James, you still come off as a douche for how you handled "the decision".
he raised $3 million for charity from that...doesnt that count?
This. Besides, he could give 3 million of his own money, and it would be like you or me giving 3 dollars to charity.WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:Yeah it counts for the fact that he has an excuse for destroying the psyche of a city and Cavs fans on live TV. Those teams were not champions before the 3 you mentioned arrived. Yes, the Lakers & Celtics had the tradition of winning, but were not until Bird & Magic showed up. Dont remember much about Chicago other than MJ made that town, just like LeBron put Cleveland on the map. LeBron owned Cleveland. My guess is that at some point in the season Lebron & Wade will clash because both are alpha males, and that's not something that can be changed overnight. Will they win a championship? Hmmm, maybe eventually. The problem is they've got LeBron & Wade, and a bunch of hacks. Yes, I put Bosh in that category. Bosh has been in Toronto, and the Raptors are/were a shit team. He couldnt even get them into the playoffs. At least players like Wade & Kobe willed their shitty teams into the playoffs.LAglamrocker wrote:Bird,Magic,MJ were never drafted to a lose city, no reason for them to leave..best thing James has done getting the hell out for sunny Miami. I like the dude now

Kansas isn't a shit hole per say but it is a bore hole from hell.
one game they showed Frank McCourt on the giant screen, and the crowd started yelling "sell the team, sell the team". He got up, and left the press box he was in, and the crowd cheered.

Spot on. Love Whitlock....although I think he blocked me on Twitter for disagreeing with him a while back. We both share a love for Jeff George and The Wire.
