Why do people do this? It's a life of self-punishment and bad health, to look ugly and unpleasant. Bodybuilders have problems where the muscles chafe with each other, they are at increased risk of heart failure etc etc.

WHY?

I love lifting weights, but I have no desire to look like Jay Cutler. i respect the discipline those guys have to achieve and maintain their bodies, but I think the end result looks pretty stupid.

I think a lot of the actual pro bodybuilders have a mental disorder similar to anorexia (but the opposite) where what they see in their mind when they look in the mirror is different than what is actually there...if that makes any sense.

To impress the hotties on the treadmill next to you and to get endorsements.

I'm a natural bodybuilder myself, and 95% of the time, its a very healthy lifestyle. I love it, and plainly stated, its addictive.

However, using steriods and illegal substances, that part I will never understand.

 Over the years we've seen a lot of crazy Sludge but to try and pass that headless pic off was unfuckinbelievable. It was a fantasy built to his specs though.

I like the guy though and glad the schtick has ended.
