Jones is definitely the problem in Dallas. His egos runs the good coaches out of town and then the soft coaches that aren't bothered by his ego aren't strong enough to handle the players.

I heard that he was going to offer Cowher $40M for 5 years. With the talent that is already there and Jones' deep pockets that money is too good to pass up, knowing that he'll stay out of the way for the first 3-4 years as the new guy turns things around. Even if the coach has to walk on the 5th year they'll get the credit and then can probably name their front office job somewhere with a more low-key owner.

Some of the players do have a lot of talent, but Wade was unable to unlock the talent and have the players perform at a high level. Some of the so called talented players are very overrated.

Let's be honest, even Newman is average at best. If I hear another "expert" declare Newman as a shut down corner, I will go postal. None of the db's are any good and all of them have poor tackling technique. Even last year's pro bowler Jenkins has taken a step or two backwards this season.
Lbs are overratted and brooking is Over the hill. ware still good, but not alone.
I agree Brooking should not be returning next year. Ware and Spencer have plenty of room for improvement.
Dline is not very good. ratliff ain't playing like last year.
Ratliff is getting double-teamed and the poor linebackers are not helping him.

the o-line is below average. does not help that Romo is out and Kitna is back there taking the snaps. he's a back-up for a reason and won't do much to help the team win.
A good qb who's hurt and has too many tos.

okay wrs, but very overrated, though Dez bryant looks to be the real deal.

This team simply doesn't have reliable RBs

Look, Marion Barber used to be the guy to get those difficult two-three yards to get into end zone. How many times the Cowboys have failed in that department?

Felix Jones used to find the holes and ran like a beast. But he got fat and hardly changes his direction when the O-line can't open up a space.

And we haven't see much of Tashard Choice. That one fumble mistake seems to have costed him the season and who knows if we will see him again.

Don't take me wrong. I'm a Cowboys fan since the mid-70's, but gotta call it like it is.
