Every team has them. Some are just publicized more than others.

Yeah but who has the most. Some teams have standards. The Raiders, Jets, Cowboys and Steelers have low standards.

Bengals have quite a few with Frostee Rucker, Pac-Man Jones, Tank Johnson, but nohing compares to the early-mid 90's Dallas Cowboys.

Oakland by far. That organization is full of scumbags top to bottom, including their scumbag owner.
I would guess Cincinnati next.
I wouldn't include Pittsburgh in that list. The Rooneys were so pissed at Rapistberger that they were going to get rid of him and historically have not put up with that type of stuff.
I don't think every team is loaded with them. Some teams have character standards and won't put up with players who get into trouble off the field. I know New England has cut players in the past for off field issues and shied away from drafting or signing players who had bad histories. Not to say that they don't have any, but they don't have a lot of them.

The Steelers were never going to get rid of Rapistberger. They put on a front of having high standards when in reality they don't. They had 18 arrested players a few years ago in a single year. They put up with James Harrison's bullshit as well.

As long as they show up to play on Sunday and play hard, I don't care what they're into off the field. If what they do involves jailtime or is deemed worthy of suspension by the NFL, fine. The NFL and its organizations don't need to even pretend to have 'standards' as far as I'm concerned, but that kind of thing is going to happen...

So you're ok that Michael Vick can kill puppies and is still allowed in the league? Or that Donte Stallworth can get drunk, kill a man by running the man over, and is still allowed to play?

Vick did his time and lost a shitload of money. In the eyes of the law he paid his debt and judging by the apathy, society agrees as well.

I don't. Some crimes are so awful there is no forgiveness. No amount of jail time is going to bring back those dogs.

Please read the sentence I've bolded. Those guys both missed at least a full season; obviously, the NFL and the legal system have both dealt with the issues. To expel guys like those for life would be a sham on the NFL's part and would be a cave-in to external pressures for the purpose of appearing to have high 'standards'. Grow up.

Agreed, they should work if they've paid their dues. I don't understand how ANYONE with a soul cheers for them though.

Probably the Bengals. They still don't have shit of the Jailblazers era though. We had a sex offender on the team and he wasn't even the craziest guy.

The Falcons.
Only because Michael Vick set the bar SO high, even though he is gone nobody will ever be able to top the ghetto mess that he was.

The 2-10 Lions had a couple of players celebrate first downs yesterday in a fashion that if I were their coach I'd have a problem with it. Stanton's little touchdown 'washing my hair' celebration was cute for a 3rd stringer on a 2-10 team.

If you can't be a fucking door greeter at Walmart if you're a felon then you shouldn't be able to play in the NFL.
There are REAL fuckin' people in this world who have made mistakes and did their time and won't EVER get a goddamn chance.
Someone with EVERYTHING given to them for their craft fucks it up with a full blown felony?
Fuck 'em.

They've above the normals simply by virtue of being great athletes. Blame it on slave breeding if you must, but these is facts...

I understand all of these things but I think it should be one way or the other for everybody. Really, I believe that if you've served your time and payed your debt you should get a second chance.
