But it's ok because he is entertaining and the league needs some coaches that are colorful. He certainly didn't shy away after the game and admitted that the Jets got their asses kicked. I prefer the Belichick style far more than Ryan's style but there is room for both of them.

And some media people may not care for him because he doesn't give colorful quotes. well, he beat my team twice, but that has nothing to do with me thinking he's not likable.

None of those guys you listed were unlikable in my opinion.

Tom landry is the biggest class act to ever grace the sideline.

I'm pretty sure Lombardi was hated, especially by his players. And I can totally understand the hate for Belichick, but what is really odd is that you never hear any of his players (or former players) talking shit about Bill.

Show me someone else who has won three Super Bowls with three different (average) quarterbacks.

But Belichick had the foresight to pick Brady up in the draft when no one else did. The guy (Brady) never hinted at this kind of talent in college. He's a hard worker, smart and has a great coach. Maybe Belichick wouldn't be where he is without Brady, but I doubt Brady would be as great as he is if he went to another team.

"Great coaches SUCH AS..." I didn't name all the great coaches, I just named some examples. I could have added more such as Brown and Noll, long with Gibbs, but I didn't want to sit here and make up a top 10 list.

I agree with Levi on this one, Gibbs belongs on the list, Shit that dude is one of the smartest fuckers in all of sports history, 3 rings in the NFL, And three cups in NASCAR as an Owner. Yeah being an owner is different from being a coach but He still made the call on bringing Tony Stewart into NASCAR from the indy league and that resulted in 2 of his titles.

Don't knw about Lombardi, he died before i was born. Nothing I have read makes me think he was not liked.
