Okay both teams have arrived in Big D..
Countdown is on to the overly hyped, commercial shitstorm once known as the Championship of the National Football League, which has since slithered into a commercial laugh of 4 1/2 pre game show, crappy halftime and many just watching the game for the commercials and a reason to party an extra day on a weekend..
That said, let's hear your predictions for the actual game and winner.

Before Goodell opened his pie hole today, Steelers in a squeaker. After the shit storm it's bound to cause in the locker room, Green Bay. Which I'm sure is exactly what he was after.
But if the Steelers do win, I hope some one close to retirement punches Goodell right in the fucking face.

Interesting point. No doubt, the NFL wants GB to win this game. The Steelers have won it twice since 2005, and everybody likes to see someone new win it. Plus, I'm sure the NFL is banking on Rodgers becoming the next face of the league and big name franchise QB once Peyton Manning and Brady retire. Planting a seed like this in the PIT locker room is certainly a good way for Gooddell to tip the scales in favor of GB.
I'm not saying that's for sure the case. But it's definitely an interesting theory. A guy that's as calculating and careful as Gooddell is doesn't let something like that out without having an agenda behind it.

Just read about this. Pretty low of Goodell.. Fines and suspends players for violations of the league's personal "conduct" policy then pulls that shit..
Guilty of some pretty shitty conduct himself..

I want the Packers to win solely based on my loathing of the serial rapist. But I think Rodgers was hurt when Peppers brained him. He was never the same QB after the helmet to helmet. Steelers in a close one.

Ben Roethelsberger referred to himself as a man of God at media day. I know no one is perfect, but he should probably focus on football.

If Big Ben calls himself "a man of God", it's because women are praying he doesn't rape them.
Fuck that serial raping shithead. I hope Matthews gets a clear shot and takes out his fucking knee on Sunday. Barring that, another motorcycle accident that finishes the fucking job would do nicely.

I expect the Pack to come out strong, but for the Steelers to weather the early storm and come out ahead. The Steelers won't run all over the Pack, but they will have just enough running game to keep a balance.
I don't like how the Pack let down in the second half of the NFC Championship and almost let a 3rd stringer beat them.
Steelers 24
Packers 23

Cheering for the Pack, but I'm siding with the Madden simulation.
Steelers - 28
Packers - 24
Should be a good game, down to the last quarter.

Okay throw mine out there..
Steelers 24
Packers 16
I've always been a Polamalu fan, not so much a Steelers fan, so I'd like to see Troy get another ring.
Don't really matter though really, I just want a good exciting game like the Pats/Giants, Steelers/Cardinals and the Saints win/Colts loss. I hate blowouts in Superbowls..

For the FudgePackers to win they have to run the ball. When the Pats and Jets beat the Steelers earlier in the season they both ran for over 100 yds. Don't see the FudgePackers being able to do that.
Steelers 31-21
