Detroit Pistons Reportedly Boycott Shootaround, Then Laugh It Off.

Ever since longtime respected guard Richard Hamilton was rumored to be unhappy with his demotion to the bench by second-year coach John Kuester, it was obvious things weren't exactly peachy for the Detroit Pistons...beyond their bad record, that is.
But things have apparently actually gotten worse.
Not only did word get out that Hamilton went into a "jarring and expletive-filled diatribe" after his demotion, now it appears there was a boycott on Friday.
Four Pistons players, including Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Tracy McGrady and Chris Wilcox reportedly boycotted shootaround on Friday in the midst of their displeasure of Kuester.
Reportedly they had been planning the boycott for the last game before the All-Star break, but decided not to after the front office told them that Kuester would be gone by the end of the weekend.
Kuester wasn't let go, and now it does appear we have a good ol' fashioned mutiny on our hands, folks.
Cameras captured McGrady laughing when Kuester was ejected on Friday after arguing with referees.
Beyond the four Pistons who missed the shootaround altogether and were benched during the game, two other players-Rodney Stuckey and Austin Daye- were reportedly late to the shootaround and were held out of the game, as well.
The team spokesman said McGrady had a headache (probably from Kuester), Prince had an upset stomach (probably from Kuester), and Hamilton and Wilcox missed the bus from the hotel the team was staying at.
What ever happened to never leaving anyone behind?
If I was a Pistons fan, I'd probably side with the players. Hamilton and Prince have been cornerstones for the organization, and since Kuester has been around they've been a bottom-feeding team.
After going 27-55 last year, the Pistons are currently 21-39.
Hey, they could surpass 27 wins this year, but I wouldn't exactly call that a grand accomplishment.
Right now, the Pistons are clearly being affected by the situation.
If Kuester isn't let go soon, this could be a long-term disaster in Detroit.
