I missed you man.
I will post daily on my beloved dipshits battle for fourth place in the division.
I will begin the discussion with a Dear Jim Hendry.
Please release that fat useless tub of shit Carlos Silva today. I realize his ERA is down to a respectable 15.88 this spring (For a Cubs starter, that's fantastic), but he hurts the clubhouse chemistry and eats everything on the buffet leaving nothing for young bucks like Castro and Colvin who need their daily nutrition.

Im just waiting to see what the over/under is on that date Zambrano will have his first meltdown and then also how soon Carpenter ends up on the DL.
Not really sure who the front runner is in the NLCS this year, looks pretty open to me at this point.

You didn't hear? Zambrano declared that his anger has been cured over the winter. Apparently he cured his madness the same way Ed Van Halen cured his tongue cancer.

Sadly, while I manage to visit Waylon every couple of months, I have yet to make it to a cubs game

Wow, Cubs cut Silva and still owe him 11.5 million. Couldnt they atleast keep him for the bullpen or something with owing him that much money??

Hopefully, my REDS can take this Division again. Even though they didn't hang around for long in the playoffs (damn Phillies). LOL

The Reds are gonna be tough, they'll have Chapman coming out of the BP mid-season plus they're loaded with pitching.
Milwaukee losing Greinke for a few starts is going to help them get a jump on the eventual race. As for the playoffs? Everyone says "Dusty Baker sucks for a reason."

He obviously ruffeled the wrong feathers when he went after Ramirez during Spring Training this year. You do not just let 11.5 million walk away with absolutely nothing in return if there are not some serious problems.

The maddening thing is he was totally tradable last year when he was pitching well. Hendry dropped the ball badly. Remember none of this happens if wasn't retarded enough to sign Milton Bradley in the first place. It'll be at least 3 more years before the Cubs are anything but a punchline with all that bad paper they have tied up in Soriano, Marmol and Crazy Carlos.

Brewers and Cardinals found gutwrenching ways to blow it yesterday.
I just heard the Cubs spent exactly zero days above .500 last season. If they win today they're already ahead of the game.
Heading to the Red Ivy if anyone wants to tip a couple before the game. Wear a hat. It's cold.

I honestly think the Reds are pretty much a lock for the NL Central again this year. Milwaukee are supposed to end up being their main competition, but even with Greinke, I just don't see it. I was nearly certain the Phillies would beat 'em, but I expected them to do better than they did. Especially that epic 2nd game meltdown. THAT was just EMBARRASING
And personally, I LIKE Dusty Baker. (Thought I saw someone in this thread or another one whom obviously doesn't share my opinion - and I know there are many out there whom don't seem to think too highly of Dusty. But I like Dusty and the players love the guy and they play their asses off for him).
