Predictably Philly Eagles/Phillies Phans come in at #1, but some surprises in there.

My sister will be proud of the Terps inclusion...she was present at a number of the riots during the Final Four years and we even saw her on the news drinking a beer near a burning couch.

I'm not one of those guys that love or hates Duke, but this is pretty accurate regarding their students. Dan Bernstein (Chicago sports talk radio guy) who graduated from Duke at the height of the Hurley/Laettner years is embarassed by his alma mater's behavior.

Here's what the most reviled fans in college sports don't understand: When everyone already resents you for being a perennial national champion, brainstorming new ways to make fun of people doesn't make you clever. It makes you a dick.

I am surprised LSU is on there, especially so high. I went to an LSU-Notre Dame football game back in the mid-90s with 2 guys who are LSU alums and another frend who is a Notre Dame fan (and was rooting for ND without any reservations). ND blasted LSU (and it was like 24-3 midway thru the 2nd quarter). We had zero problems and the LSU crazies happily shared their Wild Turkey with us, even my friend the ND fan.

As an Iowa alum, I've never had a single problem with any of the people in Madison the 3 times I've traveled to watch the Hawkeyes play the Badgers.

True Lakers fans usually can't go to games cuz the tickets are incredibly expensive. The one's that do go are complete douches, I'll admit that. I actually had more fun at a Clipeers game this year than the two Lakers games I went to.
