I say he lasts less than 10 games longer than Rudy Tomjanovich did.

Bah...
So next season I even spend more time hanging with greens and less time watching the Lake Show.
I think Adelman would have put a better prepared team on the floor.
Dumb move Cupcake.

I love the way the NBA keeps recycling these fucking guys. There's 30 coaching positions and apparently only 35 qualified guys to fill them. What, Bill Fitch wasn't available?
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
Rick Adelman had the least chance of being hired...why?...because Kobe didnt wanna be controlled
Mike Brown is a perfect fit for Kobe, because he is a dummy who can be bullied around by Kobe
the same way Lebron ran things in Cleveland

Mike Brown teams don't run plays on offense. Sure they defend, but it's hard basketball to watch.Heenan Snuka wrote:Rick Adelman had the least chance of being hired...why?...because Kobe didnt wanna be controlled

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
I think Mike Brown is a solid choice.
What the Lakers need more than anything is a POINT GUARD.
Without a solid pg, Lakers will not go very far. All the top teams
have grade A points, the Lakers,,, not so much.

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
As a Cavs fan, I can safely say that this coach is not a good fit. I never once felt that Brown had anything to do with Cleveland's success....Brian Shaw was the rightful heir in LA.

So are they waiting until after the finals to make the formal announcement or what?

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
No, the guy is getting a bit too old. Although I wouldve been okay with that hiring. I'm good with Brown, and I'm a huge Laker fan.Just.Saying wrote:Should've went Adlemen. Dumb fucking move.

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
Fair enough, I don't think Brown is the answer, should've t least moved up Shaw, or tried to entice Rambis back.
Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
I can see the reasons for and against hiring Brian Shaw as head coach. In regards to Rambis- absolutely not! Have you ever listened to an interview of the guy? So boring to listen to that his voice becomes white noise. He cant even get the Timberwolves to win any games. They have some talent on that team. I'm not saying top tier talent, but they should win more games than what they do. Not to mention he was a bust when he was head coach of the Lakers.

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
Rambis' problem is that he "thinks" he's Phil Jackson. The guy is a joke of a head coach and is and only should be a lifetime assistant. Running the fucking Triangle in Minnesota, now that's funny.

Re: Lakers hire Mike Brown
Kobe already bitched out Mitch & Jerry for it to the point where they had to do a PR stating they should have talked to him first before the hire.
