The AFC West is the island of misfit toys when it comes to NFL quarterbacks. Palmer, Orton, Tebow, Quinn, Campbell... matters not who wins that division, they are one and done in the playoffs regardless of homefield.

Wow, what a bullshit roughing the passer call against the Lions right before halftime. That was as clean a tackle as a defender can make.

Of cousre, let me say that I think Stafford will be better than Grossman, but he will have to prove it to me, i don't care what ESPn says.

I normally don't quote myself, but Stafford still hasn't done shit to impress me. I'm still wating Rexi 2011.

Tackling is a lost art. No matter which team I watch I see linebackers and defensive backs that prefer to deliver a hard hit rather than wrap up the ball carrier and take him down. It seems like more often than not the ball carrier just bounces of the defender and keeps going. 20 years ago coaches would bench players for this. Now everyone does it. I attribute it to Sports center showing big hits while ignoring fundamental tackling.

The late hit on Rogers call was retarded, but otherwise, I thought it was pretty reasonably called. That was a pretty chippy game for a while. Detroit has a long way to go. Their lack of discipline was Raiderlike.

I was reading on NFL.com last week that Mercury was praising the Packers, and that they'd toast them or something if they went undefeated. He said they have class unlike the Patriots before them.

He didn't like the Patriots racking up the points on teams that year. I don't agree with that, I think you play to win, and the other team has to stop you. Records are there to be broken and having your name in the history books is a legacy worth having.

But I remember a few on here bitching about it at the time.

Suh was dirty on thanksgiving. No way I can justify that even being a Lions fan. Great way to show himself to all the the fans who may only see the Lions during THanksgiving, or because they played GB!

Stafford is inconsistant as hell. Guess when your injured half the season for your first two years you have to learn your growng lessons sometime, hopefully.

Missed the SF game because of black friday, but I am alittle sad they lost. And I hate SF being from WA. Wish I could have seen that more then anyother game including the LIons today.

I don't care what the won/loss records are, when the (Skins) Dolphins and Cowboys play, the games are going to be brutal.
Yesterday was more of the same.
I was hoping Dallas would get (of town) with a W and they did. Does not matter how much they won by, as long as Dallas won.
Just saving Machado some time. 8)

That Ravens/49ers game was one of the more entertaining and 'better' games I've seen lately. Both teams were going for it 110%, it was tight all the way until the last couple minutes. Baltimore's defense looked fucking evil and Ray Lewis wasn't even on the field. 9 damn sacks.
