Super Bowl will be Giants-Patriots.
No question about it.
Patriots will win it, this time.

To go 15-1 and then one-and-done in the playoffs. And to play that sloppily too. Ouch!

And goodnight, folks. Enjoy your drive home.
Did anyone here predict both the Saints and the Packers would lose this weekend?

Because loser fans from teams that went 2-14 should always give shit to fans of teams that went 15-1 and just won a Superbowl within the past 12 months.

Last I checked the Colts won more games between 2000-2010 than the Packers, Patriots, and ANY OTHER TEAM in a ten year span, ever! And we didn't have to CHEAT to do it. Chew on that, bitch!SkyDog112046 wrote:poizond13 wrote:WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:

Old news and nostalgia. Welcome to the club!
Colts won 2 games last year. They are done for the foreseeable future. I can't believe you don't understand that. But that's just one of the many things that makes you a moron.

Yeah, both the Patriots and the Steelers won more championships than Indy in that same span. The Colts had a lot of wins and a whole lot of nothing to show for it.Facedown wrote:Last I checked that didn't mean a fucking thing.poizond13 wrote:Last I checked the Colts won more games between 2000-2010 than the Packers, Patriots, and ANY OTHER TEAM in a ten year span, ever!

Packers were not perfect and anybody who is surprised they lost
today is kidding themselves.
Packers were built for the 16 game season. Not the playoffs.

Silly rabbit, Super Bowl wins don't matter. Unless it's convenient for P13 to argue that they do.MurrayFiend wrote:Yeah, both the Patriots and the Steelers won more championships than Indy in that same ten-year span. Wasn't there talk leading up to this game about the Packers and the areas where they can be exposed in the playoffs? I think there was and plenty of it.
Does not take a Cowboy fan like me to know the Packers were ripe for
the picking.

Re: NFL 2011 Thread
I don't think many are surprised, anyone who watched any sports network in the last week have heard all about how this game could've gone either way and the Giants had a way better defense. You could tell from the start NY was the better team, the refs helped keep the packers in it, Jesus where do they find these refs?Machado wrote:Packers were not perfect and anybody who is surprised they lost

Re: NFL 2011 Thread
From here on out I think it will come down to which team is most balanced and has the least fatal flaw.
My take on each team:
New York:
Best overall balance. Can be inconsistent and probably the least talented roster left in the playoffs but no major flaws.
San Francisco:
Defense looks awesome and they can pound the ball with the running game to eat the clock. Smith isn't capable of bringing them back if they make mistakes and get down early.
Baltimore:
Strong veteran defense with a lot of playmakers. The offense sometimes stagnates, the O-line goes through periods where they can't open holes for Rice, the receivers are prone to getting the drops, and Flacco always seems to screw up at the wrong time.
New England:
Best offense left and when Brady is on he can be unstoppable. Well coached and prepared. Weakest defense left by far. They have trouble getting off the field due to blown assignments and missed tackles. Any halfway decent QB can light them up although if the QB does make a mistake they will capitalize on it.
