Romo didn't have to look far to lay the blame for the Dallas Cowboys' late collapse in a 27-24 season-opening loss to the New York Jets.

Incredible, uh?

But not so much when you see that it was Romo just being Romo, meaning that it was yet again another case of crumbling under pressure.

It's still early but I think that if those first three quarters the COWBOYS played (they were always up in the score, against the Jets -pretty strong SB favorite - in their turf) are an indication of what they're capable to do, they could be contenders in the NFC East.

If Romo plays more like that 4th quarter, then forget about it

That was just same old Romo.How many times has he folded like that? The Cowboys looked pretty good really, but I don't think they'll ever be a real contender with that guy as their QB.

The Cowboys defense looks good but Romo is a joke. Not being able to manage a game with the lead is unforgivable. The defense must want to kick his ass.

Romo does get a lot of the blame for the INT, but special teams-allowing the blocked punt was a huge factor.
Dez should have been removed from the game and not allowed to take
the field in the 4th. It was clear he had no explosion. Even I could have defended the pass against him.

Its only 1 game and does not make the season.

Personally, I need to see more from the running back position. Murray did not do anything and Choice was rarely used.

The db's are doing the best they can. If the 2 starters were out there, the game could have ended with a W.

I'd certainly be worried if I were a Cowboys fan. They are only going as far as Romo can take them and he's really looked bad in their big games over the last few seasons.

Sean Lee was awesome at LB. Keith Brooking is a good vet to have, but so far Sean Lee has earned more playing time.
