Poor guy. The brunt of decades and decades of anger and misery.
I love how they all blame him, but he wasn't the only fan trying to catch the ball.

Fucking pathetic waste of 2 hours of ESPN programming. Glad they showed the following wild pitch that advanced the runner following the Bartman deal. Face facts, the team
wet the bed that night and couldn't finish a game 7. This guy didn't deserve all the blame for a team that flat out choked.

I thought that was the point the director was trying to make.

Very good film. All of the "bonus" footage included in the film helps tell the story. So much of this footage was obviously unavailable during the live telecast.
I still firmly believe that Alou would have caught the fly ball for an out.
If so, the course of history would have changed and Bartman would be virtually invisible today.
Instead, the fucker with the goofy headphones went after the ball and ruined his life and the lives of so many Cubs fans.

Excellent film. Clearly Bartman was not to blame for the loss(es). Must have been terrifying being him during those weeks. Funny that despite all these years and all the camera angles, nobody wants to kill the other 5 guys who also went for that ball.......or kill the SS who booted that ball.
The Cubs are in a very select club with the Vikings, Eagles, and maybe after tonight the Rangers. Teams who's misery have become a sport onto itself.
