To be fair I think your wording needs to change. It reads "Loser leaves Sludge". Regardless of the outcome of the wager, P13 is clearly a loser. The way most people would read the bet it would appear that P13 has to leave Sludge no matter which team wins.

And besides, my point stands, in any sport played by professionals, whining about running up the score is for pussies except in very exceptional circumstances where a team may have just suffered some huge loss (midweek death of a player, natural disaster in home town, etc.).

Nobody goes easy on you if you're doing a bad job in the real world, so why should football players get off more lightly?

This is why there should be promotion and relegation in the NFL. Teams like the Colts and Dolphins can just give up now as they have no chance of the playoffs and there are no real consequences. If there was a threat of relegation, both coaches would be fired by now and the players fighting for their lives.

I knew in about the 2nd quarter that I should turn it off, but it was like starting into a campfire. I was completely mesmerized by what I was watchinig. If that had been happening to the Bears I think I may have cried.
