I'm assuming you are talking about Dallas?Clovis Died wrote:I know chances are the Nets or Lakers, and actually I would be excited about it, but the local news is popping up we might have a sign in trade in place, very unlikely, but I'm still hopeful.
Yes Dallas. The talk on radio was Chandler, Butler, and a draft pick they were giving up for Turkeglo and Howard, but it seems that has faded or was never really there, which was expected. However we did get Vince Carter and looks like Dalembert has an offer to come. Man I can't wait for the season to start.yeahbuddy wrote:I'm assuming you are talking about Dallas?Clovis Died wrote:I know chances are the Nets or Lakers, and actually I would be excited about it, but the local news is popping up we might have a sign in trade in place, very unlikely, but I'm still hopeful.
Who are the Mavericks going to give up?
The sign and trade is Tyson Chandler going to Knicks.
yeahbuddy wrote:Who does the Nets have to make trade worth while?
Brook Lopez? I dont think so.
Even with his health issues, I would want Bynum before
Lopez.
& I cant imagine he would want NJ before Lakers.Clovis Died wrote:yeahbuddy wrote:Who does the Nets have to make trade worth while?

That is a good question. Lopez and a few expiring contracts I think. Maybe that dude with two last names also.
I read that one of the reasons he wants NJ before Lakers is he doesnt want to follow in Shaq's footsteps. I dont think anyone thinks that. The Lakers have a history of great centers. Howard would be included.Clovis Died wrote:The Lakers want him and he wants to go there, I know Orlando is still bitter about the Shaq situation. Paul/Kobe/Howard/Artest would just be fun to watch
And they gave him away for nothing, a couple of draft choices.Rainbow Bright wrote:Mitch sent Lamar to Dallas. I wonder if Kobe is sharpening a knife about now.
You can't win a title with two guys, especially when one of them still has 6-24 games. They could have kept Odom and shipped Glass Joe down the road for a role-player. Its going to be interesting to see what they have up their sleeves. And comical if it backfires in their face.yeahbuddy wrote:And they gave him away for nothing, a couple of draft choices.Rainbow Bright wrote:Mitch sent Lamar to Dallas. The Lakers must have something cooking. You dont just give
Odom away for a couple of beers & some popcorn.
I read the Magic want Bynum & Gasol for Howard. I dont think so.
it's pretty simple, If they want Dwight Howard they need to give up Bynum and Gasol, though I don't know why the Magic would do even that considering Bynum's injury problems, not to mention he's a sore loser bubba blue looking prick.Clovis Died wrote:Losing Odom made no sense. So the Mavs have Nowitski, Marion, and Odom. Interesting. What are the Lakers going to do?
I'll take Bynum over Brooke Lopez anyday of the week.dtmfs wrote:it's pretty simple, If they want Dwight Howard they need to give up Bynum and Gasol, though I don't know why the Magic would do even that considering Bynum's injury problems, not to mention he's a sore loser bubba blue looking prick.Clovis Died wrote:Losing Odom made no sense. when Healthy Bynum is damn good player, thats the problem though He can't stay healthy, look at his career averages and games missed to injury, that's a huge red flag when you're talking about dealing the best C in the league. I think the magic would take bynum and Gasol, but alot of delusional laker fans think just Bynum will cut it, no fucking way.yeahbuddy wrote: I'll take Bynum over Brooke Lopez anyday of the week.
Trust me, the Magic don't give a shit about injury problems. If it looks like a bad decision, that's the decision they'll make. Otis Smith is a retard. The rest of management/ownership are bigger retards.dtmfs wrote:it's pretty simple, If they want Dwight Howard they need to give up Bynum and Gasol, though I don't know why the Magic would do even that considering Bynum's injury problems, not to mention he's a sore loser bubba blue looking prick.Clovis Died wrote:Losing Odom made no sense. MJ/Scottie always had either Grant or Rodman doing their dirty work. It helped that no one understands matchups better than Phil Jackson.Rainbow Bright wrote: You can't win a title with two guys, especially when one of them still has 6-24 games. Nah,ParaDime77 wrote:The betting man in me thinks that if Bynum gets traded, he will go the other way emotionally and physically and be the next Eddy Curry.
Did you see his man boobs after he took of his jersey in his Game 4 ejection? He's well on his way to being Eddy Curry.ParaDime77 wrote:The betting man in me thinks that if Bynum gets traded, he will go the other way emotionally and physically and be the next Eddy Curry.
The drama continues..."If you're willing to change and you're willing to do what it takes to win, then, you know, you've got me," Howard said. "And if you're not willing to do what it takes to win, I don't think anybody here would question anybody's motives if you want to stay in the same position you are."
