That poor guy can't get a break. I have a question, would it have mattered if he would've stayed in college? I don't mean later on down the road in the pros but would he have been able to remain healthier if he stayed at OH St?

No, his knees were going to come apart sooner or later. Better to go through rehab on the NBA's dime with their doctors and their facilities while you have millions in the bank than to go through it as a college athlete and then be lucky to get a rookie minimum contract.

Yeah. Going pro when he did is the best thing he could have possibly done in retrospect.

Normally I dont feel bad for any people who get drafted/signed to the 4 leagues, but yes. I feel bad for Oden.

A lot of people compare Oden to Andrew Bynum. The difference b/t the two is that Bynum's injuries came from other players running or jumping or falling into him. Oden's have all been from non contact. A big difference there.
Andrew Bynum = Allstar Starter
Greg Oden= NBA Bust

Oden is like Samuel Jackson's character in Unbreakable. Someone nearby sneezes and bones start snapping.

One of the nicest pro athletes you'll ever see. When they introduced him in Portland at the rally downtown I thought he was going to cry he was so appreciative.

On one hand, the guy looks like he could seriously be in a Geico commercial. On the other hand, he's packing a fucking ICBM in his shorts. You tell me what gets you farther coupled with the money he has.

No gay here, pal. Guy is a freak of nature and should be recognized as such.

That giant cock is what's fucking up his knees.

Try tying a 20 pound weight around your waist & dunking on an NBA rim.

On the bright side, they got an arrowhead out of his knee from the Battle of Thermopylae.

And I still wouldn't have picked Durant. I would have gotten Noah.

Noah from the ark has less wear & tear on his knees than Oden. Probably younger, too.

That's because Oden fucked up his knees in the first place by building Stonehenge. All Noah did was build a boat.

We got people who can score. What Portland needs aside from a new PG, is a guy downlow to collect boards, scrap and throw elbows. Sadly I don't think we can find the fountain of youth for Oak, so Noah would suffice.
