I can't remember the last time I cared less about the outcome of a Super Bowl.

As a long suffering Browns fan, I feel the same. I really enjoy watching football. I'm on the sidelines every Friday night. I go to most Ohio U. home games, and I start Sundays with Browns pregame and usually wind down the evening listening to the post game coverage and call ins. So my question is how do people truly get all in for a game where there is no vested interest?? Like I said, I obviously love football, but the "I just love watching football no matter who is playing," line doesn't really hold up for me. If you don't have a dog in the fight, what is the point?

They'll lose. Brady'll get sacked and hit a ton of times. Might even get a couple of flags if he whines enough but nevertheless, they'll lose.

Threads like this are really annoying. I really hate "fans" who shit talk. Just go ahead and add "we" or "us" and you can be P13 too.
Here's the rule:
If you suit up for a team, coach or manage them, or work for them in some official capacity related to the on field performance then you have the right to talk shit(although it still makes you an idiot for doing anything besides a little on-field trash talking.)
If you don't play for said team then you have no right to talk shit. You can discuss the game and the strategies but since you have ZERO part in the outcome you have no right to act as if you do. That is the realm of the bandwagon fans and "pink hats".
I remember an incident 7 or 8 years ago where New England beat Pittsburgh 28-3 in a playoff game in Foxboro. As the Steelers were leaving the field one of the fans was heckling them saying "We kicked your ass." One of the Steeler players stopped to address the fan and said "No, the Patriots just kicked our ass. You had nothing to do with it. You're probably just unemployed." I agree with that sentiment 100%. Cheer your team on, enjoy the game, but keep your mouth shut unless you are suiting up.

No, he won't. It's funny you think he'll be under such a FIERCE pass rush, all day. This won't be like 2008 (Super Bowl XLII).
The Giants are about to come crashing back down to Earth ((THUD)).
Brady will be "ON," today. He'll be the MVP.

Same here... No hype or excitement whatsoever to me..
HOWEVER.... Did anyone else see Peyton as he was walking into the stadium?? He had a look on his face that was ALL BUSINESS. That was the most LOCKED IN that I've ever seen Peyton or pretty much anyone else for that matter.
Look out, um....well..uh.. other Colts players watching two winning teams playing in the Super Bowl in INDY from the boxes!!

I'm not a fan of either team, but it's gotten to me. I can't wait to watch it.
Plus maybe I'll actually get some shit done once the season's over... until baseball starts.
Fuck Madonna, though. Last year was bad enough. Gonna have to take a long bathroom break during halftime or something.

Same here. I didn't really care about last years' game either. The older I get, the more the SB becomes just another championship game that my team isn't playing in.

I hope they get in again soon. Cam Newton's fun to watch.

As a Brady and Green-Ellis fan, I hope they can pull it off. History has told us that they won't though. Still rooting for them though, even if their last game against The Ravens was iffy.

It's dope that that Green-Ellis guy hasn't fumbled in an NFL game.
And hey, they've won more SBs than they've lost in the Biličić-Brady era.

I also love how every non football playing/watching son of a gun comes out of the woodwork as a football expert for the Superbowl. I may go to the damned movies or something as a sort of protest.

I'm a Chargers fan, but this is a great matchup, both in terms of the teams and players, and the history - being a rematch of a great SB and all.

Brady's like, "What?! We're down four? I'm gonna have to win this thing with my arm?"
Just kidding, Pats fans.

I'm a huge Charges fan also which is why I can't stand watching Brady win he owns my team and seeing him loose his second superbowl was great.I like Rivers so I could care less that Eli did not wana play for the Chargers.

Harrison insults Patriots after Super Bowl
INDIANAPOLIS -- James Harrison has been called the dirtiest player in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker added another title Sunday night: rudest player in the league.
As soon as the New England Patriots fell short in a 21-17 loss in the Super Bowl, Harrison posted on Twitter: "Told you, cheaters never win!!!!!!!!!"
Not sure if you could tell by the amount of exclamation points, but Harrison is extremely happy by the Patriots' misery. Of course, he's bringing up "Spygate," the 2007 incident where the Patriots were caught videotaping the New York Jets defensive coaches' signals.
Steelers safety Ryan Clark piled on with this on Twitter: "0-2 [in Super Bowls] post spy gate! Just saying!!"

What does this have to do with the Colts. Were we in the game?
As far as I'm concerned you're either first or last, and losing the SB hurts far more than not making the playoffs. Brady will never recover from this.

So I guess that retarded "best team between 2000-2010" thing you keep throwing around doesn't mean shit, since the Colts only managed to finish "first" once, right?
You are just the worst. Go back to blowing the fabulous city of Indianapolis.

No, you weren't. Colts weren't either.
Tough to win a championship that way, isn't it?

Anyone think that Brady hurt his left shoulder and it fucked him up in the 4th quarter?
