Sorry, Tommy Boy, this one's on you. Your hideous performance led to the Giants' 21-17 Super Bowl title win. How embarrassing for your coach, your teammates, and your fans.
that writers an idiot, comparing Brady to Kelly was pretty bad, hmmm Brady has 3 rings, Kelly has 0. but then to say the safety killed them? Didn't they race off to a 17-9 lead at one point? He makes it sound like the pats were dead in the water after that play.

Please keep this thread ON TOPIC.
We are talking about the epic choke-job Peyton Manning pulled in his second (and likely final) Super Bowl appearance, when with the game on the line he threw that pick six, sealing the victory for the Saints.

i didn't see brady drop any balls.
Looks like the writer refused to right the truth, so he decided to write an exaggerated story to make himself look good.
Brady might have made 2 mistakes in the game.
The play that resulted in a Safety-Even though the ref's showed HUGE BALLS to even throw a flag there so early in the game.
The throw to Welker late in the game was slightly behind Wes. A perfect pass would have led to a 1st down and certain FG position.

And the awful throw to Gronkowski that got picked off.

im hearing alot of people blaming that welker play on brady, its bullshit. sorry but when the ball hits the dude who led the nfl in receptions, thats on welker.

Welker accepted the blame and said he should have caught the ball.
I'm nitpicking here, so if Brady could have thrown the ball slightly better, Welker would not have to reach behind him to make the catch.
Not a perfect throw, but Welker should have caught the ball.
I still have a huge problem with the safety being called. The refs had a lot of nerve on that play.

If the writer was trying to make himself look good, he failed miserably. Brady was far from an "embarrassment" but it wasn't his best game either. He threw behind his receivers all night. Most of those drops were still catchable balls though. It's the Super Bowl. Make the play.

You have a problem with the ref having the "nerve" to make the correct call? Um, ok. They made the only call they could. It was obviously intentional grounding. Brady was under pressure and through the ball away. If that isn't intentional grounding, nothing is. If they don't call that, might as well get rid of the rule. Congratulations to the refs for having the "nerve" to make the correct, and only, call.

Tom Brady was basically able to throw it to the endzone twice at the end, but the receivers literally "dropped the ball." But, yes, Brady basically lost the game by getting sacked with that "safety" right in the beginning. If it weren't for that, they would have won. He couldn't fuck with The Giants' defense.
I have to laugh at the retards defending Brady and saying he doesn't deserve blame. These are the same idiots who give Brady credit for "winning" three Super Bowls. They claim that's the reason he's an elite QB. Yet, when the team loses, Brady does not bear the blame. Sorry retards, you cannot have it both ways. Brady got credit for winning three Super Bowls even though they were largely a defensive team with a basic offense. Now they are an offensive team and Brady could not carry the team. You can't lay the blame on anybody but Brady first and foremost. He made two HUGE mistakes that ended up costing them the game. The first was a boneheaded safety. The second was an inexcusable decision to chuck the ball up deep to Gronkowski. Total lack of discipline and poor judgment. Plain and simple, he got nervous. i.e., he choked. That's not even including the bad pass he threw to Welker. YES it was catchable. YES it should have been caught, so Welker is to blame as well. But that 's beside the point and doesn't explain why Brady threw a bad pass to a wide open receiver. If thrown correctly, that's an automatic first down and more. Brady could not make an accurate throw when it mattered.
Sorry fools, Brady is not a big game QB. He can't cut it when the game lies on his shoulders. That's been thoroughly PROVEN over the last five+ seasons.

You realize nobody reads these ridiculous screeds you type out, right? We read the first sentence...see where it's going, and then hit reply and call you a retard.
You are worthless and nobody cares what you think. About anything.

The amount of threads you've started about Brady and/or the Patriots shows you're a jealous little troll who wishes his team had the same success.

You're still a HYPOCRITE.
You wear the crown.
Everybody here knows if that call was made against your precious Colts, you would have asked for that ref to be dismissed and argued your case as well.
Your opinion means shit around here because you're the biggest troll, the person most likely to backtrack on an opinion and the person least
likely to have anything worth repeating when it comes to the NFL or the band Poison.
