On a more serious note, is it possible for TD Johnny to surpass
Tim Tebow on the douche meter before the 2014 season concludes???

Re: The NFL Thread
I was busting his balls. Since when has Johnny Football been called TD Johnny? I'm pretty sure that's a Machadoism.
Re: The NFL Thread
Am I the only one hoping he does well? Maybe it's because I can empathize with being a fan of a shitty team.

I hope he kicks ass. That kid was a lot of fun to watch in college. I can't imagine any real football fan hoping he fails except in a case of division rivalry.lsin wrote:Am I the only one hoping he does well? Maybe it's because I can empathize with being a fan of a shitty team.

Other than disliking his religious stance and the fact that he couldn't throw a football except into the dirt, what douche meter was Tebow ever on?Machado wrote:I always knew you were a fan.WhiteHouseSubsAC wrote:God it's awesome to have Machado back.

I hope you're the only one. I root for the underdog and shitty teams "except Dallas" but I pray Johnny dickweed fails. He's a fucking squirrel and I'm saying it now he ends his career with more INT's then TD's.sin wrote:Am I the only one hoping he does well? I hope his career is over before his first contract ends. I hope he goes down faster then Teabow. Johnny the Squirrels Teabow.

How many did he miss last year? The entire team is built like a 76 pinto. Mr antics Dez "I'm as good as Calvin Johnson" has a disk problem, Homo had surgery....Again. Sean "I'm the best defensive player on the bench" Lee.
Sorry to hear it.

Re: The NFL Thread
That sums it all up right there. All last fucking season if Stan Lee had a goddamn mosquito bite, Machado wouldn't shut the fuck up about how the Cowboys were now playing with half a deck, cursed by the football gods and a cruel world that had turned against them.UtahRatt wrote:I'll drink to that. Every fucking team in the NFL suffers injuries to key players - several of them. So sick of hearing this fucking sob story from Machado and all his other Cowboys dipshit ball lickers.
The Cowboys are a salary cap disaster and have no depth. They are once again looking to be 8-8 at best.

It's gonna be a rough year in Dallas.
Terrance Williams and Chris Boyd are gonna get a lot of plaing time.

It's still the NFC East, no one want's to win the division. They're the new AFC West.
I'm pulling for Philly with everyone else going 4-12 but it will end up with three 8-8 teams.

Amen to that. I look forward to watching when he gets his first "welcome to the NFL" hit. I read in SI that someone leaked the Patriots scouting report on him and he was labeled as a spoiled brat.UtahRatt wrote: I hope you're the only one. Even on draft day he found a way to act like an asshole.
I don't see'em even getting close to .500 this year. This will be the year where they truly shit the bed.Crazy Levi wrote: The Cowboys are a salary cap disaster and have no depth. They are once again looking to be 8-8 at best.

Well fuck, just the fact they won with Rypen and Williams proves those bowls should have an asterisk *
I do remember Super Bowl XVIII, that 38-8 game?

Re: The NFL Thread
With all this talk already about Johnny Football it's got me a little confused about something. Since when did rookies take part in team activities before they had a contract or at least 1st rounders?
I know my memory sucks but I don't remember seeing that before.

Re: The NFL Thread
Texans Jadeveon Clowney had sports hernia surgery in Philadelphia on Thursday
Here we go. Surgery #1 and the kid has not yet played a reg. season game.
The kid is going to be a bust. He will never live up to the hype. So he made a vicious tackle in the backfield, in college, and suddenly he's a can't miss, 1st ballot HOF defender? I don't think so!!!

Re: The NFL Thread
A little heavy on the rhetoric don't ya think? You didn't mention that he'll be good to go on the 1st day of training camp. Nobody that's actually employed by an NFL team has claimed that he's a can't miss 1st ballot HOF defender that's just you listening to too much sports talk radio.Machado wrote:Texans Jadeveon Clowney had sports hernia surgery in Philadelphia on Thursday

You can't be serious in thinking that he was the number 1 pick because of one tackle, either that or you know more about the game than all the GM's in the NFL who if given the chance would have picked him also.
If any of these 1st round picks are guilty of too much hype AND media coverage it's Johnny Manzeil you want to bust his balls go right ahead that makes more sense.
I will say this, I guarantee he'll be a better player than Sean Lee ever was or will be and your sorry-ass Cowboy's are lucky they don't have to face Clowney and the rest of the Texans every year!
