Best thing for the Isles and hockey is for them to come here. And it would make my job that much better. Going from 0 to 2 pro teams in a year would be awesome. Business at the bars and restaurants would/will go way up.

I would love to go. Just too expensive to fly to NY and stay there. That trip for 4 days to Long island in november cost me as much as a week in HI would've.

I don't think they will move to Brooklyn though. 4 thousand seats wouldn't be able to see one goal, and would be empty. I think Brooklyn would love the Isles though. I've read countless books and shows about how they loved the Dodgers, even when they didn't win for 60 years.

BTW, i hope they end up in Brooklyn. Long Island is a political mess.

Funny thing is, it's supposd to be a Devil's home game, but the barclay's Center put a big old Isles logo on there and no Devils logo. They want the isles, they guy who owns the building said as much.

The stupid thing about that building is that hockey wasn't thought of at first. That's poor planning.

Only in NYC can you talk about modifying a building that isn't built yet. I love this place but sometimes it's the most ass backwards place on Earth.

I live in a beachtwon of about 40,000 people, and it's the same. everything is fucked up and nothing ever gets done, but they argue about it a lot.

they should have went retro to the old New York Nets/Dr. J times. Those uni's were sweet. Nobody will buy this black and white shit.

Why would anyone build a BRAND NEW arena in Brooklyn and NOT make it NHL ready knowing the current state of the Islanders???? Makes no sense at all.
