After a phenomenal draft and some key, overlooked offseason signings, this team is back on track to being a contender in a short amount of time. We got the best QB prospect in years. We got the two top tight ends in the draft, along with several speedy receivers. Luck is going to have weapons and management has shown that they will build the team around him. The last era is now firmly in the rear view, and the new era has begun. One constant is the work ethic and determination that it takes to be a winner. Reggie Wayne is already working with Luck and TE Coby Fleener in California to begin building chemistry and getting on the same page. Reggie is gonna teach these guys the ropes, on how to be a winner in this league. Luck has proven he has the talent and work ethic to be successful.

Unlike in years past, this is a long road that will take 2-3 years to complete. We probably won't make the playoffs this year. But make no mistake, we are back on the road, heading in the right direction to become World Champions once again!

The Bears are already a 9 1/2 point favorite for the first game of the season against Indy. I guess if you give Lovie Smith six months to prepare for a game...

MARK MY WORDS the Colts will be better than most people expect. I think we'll be a decent team this year. Grigson is doing a nice job of building the roster and collecting talent with very little available cap space. Next year we're projected to have the most cap space of any team in the NFL. In 2-3 years we'll be a contender again. Look out!
