I agree, Tannehill did have a better game than RG3. So did Brandon Weeden, Christian Ponder, and just about every other QB in the league.

Schaub didn't throw a pass longer than 18 yards all day. No need when your running game and defense are completely destroying the opposition.NeverSurrender wrote:Matt Schaub, and he didn't even throw a td.

Well I guess neither turned it over 4 times but still, Peyton gets some credit for breathing.
I'd like to add Drew Brees to the list.

Unlike my guy Cutler, Manning put the blame on himself at post game.

That's because Manning is a class act and Cutler is Valedictorian of the Chris Johnson school of passing the buck.johnk5150 wrote:Unlike my guy Cutler, Manning put the blame on himself at post game.

Manning is the biggest fraud in NFL history. Nearly every starting QB in the league had a better Week 2 than he did. Loved his first quarter last night hahaha!

How is he a fraud? He's one if the best QBs to ever play the game. He's old and coming off a horrendous injury, but that doesn't erase his past accomplishments. You don't have to like him, but fraud? Don't be ridiculous.bigbuttskinner wrote:Manning is the biggest fraud in NFL history. Nearly every starting QB in the league had a better Week 2 than he did. Which is why it's so hard to see him outplayed by the likes of Brandon Weedon.

People thinking Manning is done are dumb. They were in that game because of him as much as they were out of that game because of him.LAglamrocker wrote:Peytons arm is not the body part Elway signed him for

Re: List a QB Who Had a Better Week Than Peyton Manning:
True, but the fact remains that he's in his late 30's, is one really nasty hit away from retirement and won his only ring on a Rex Grossman INT. Isn't quite amusing that San Fran might be better with Alex Smith taking the snaps as opposed to Manning?
Re: List a QB Who Had a Better Week Than Peyton Manning:
LOL! This has to be one of the dumbest things I've read. Yes, I'm sure S.F. is much better off with Alex Smith than Peyton Manning.Rainbow Bright wrote:True, but the fact remains that he's in his late 30's, is one really nasty hit away from retirement and won his only ring on a Rex Grossman INT. And let's get some facts straight. He's not one hit away from retirement, at least not any more than ANY other player in the NFL is. Next, he's 36, not exactly what I'd call "late 30s." And lastly, stating that he only has a ring because he faced Rex Grossman in the Super Bowl? LOL, you are truly pathetic to say something like that.

I wouldn't call him a fraud, he's very real, but shouldn't his "past accomplishments" really say his "past accomplishment?"bane wrote:How is he a fraud? Re: List a QB Who Had a Better Week Than Peyton Manning:
Touché'. The same could be said for Favre. Marino never even got that far, but neither of those guys is a "fraud" either. I'm not above throwing stones at Manning. He definitely has his share of flaws, but calling him a fraud is simply stupid.killeverything wrote:I wouldn't call him a fraud, he's very real, but shouldn't his "past accomplishments" really say his "past accomplishment?"bane wrote:How is he a fraud?
