I need help it seems like almost every morning I find myself watching First Take.

I hate Screamin A. Smith and Skip Clueless, most of the time their views drive me crazy but I can't help myself turning on the fuckin TV and watching their damn show.

I've told myself no TV, play guitar anything worthwhile but like a addict I find myself going to the TV.

I need help I know I'm not the only one maybe this explains Rush Limbaugh's radio ratings, people like me like to get annoyed at someone God what a sickness I have.

everyday i DVR
PTI on ESPN at 2:30
it's the only sports talk show i watch on a regular basis.
i don't count ESPN Outside The Lines, but that is a program I DVR
every Sunday morning.

anyway, if you enjoy the show, then have fun.
i could not stand to hear those fools talk and talk for
more than 5 minutes, but more power to you.

I can't watch any of these shows anymore. I rather read you clown's opinions. The day all the good sports reporters ended up on tv, I knew the end was near.

I listen to the local sports radio shows here in Chicago religiously. A lot of time they just reinforce how bad my teams are which is doubly unproductive, but I can't stop listening.

I can't watch First Take anymore or anything NFL related on ESPN because of the arrogant, blow hard motherfuckers that seem to be trolling the world with the opinions they offer.

I'll listen to Cowherd here and their, some Dan Patrick, a bit of Jim Rome and KFan out of Minneapolis. Too much of one show will drive a guy nuts.

The Kfan guys are decent and really watch what they talk about. Cowherd is a bandwagon jumping blowhard. Jim Rome i will always like, but he is a bit corporate now. Radio shows are still better than any ESPN tv show.

This. Its been a dead issue for me at least 15 years. Never been a fan of sports talk shows on tv. How boring is the Dan Patrick show? Most of the time he looks like has Tourettes Syndrome or something.

I used to listen to sports talk on radio until they started hiring guys (ex athletes) who do not know how to speak properly. Or they know about the sport they played, but sound like a complete idiot when talking about other sports.

Started to listen to The Fan out of New York online. Those guys kiss NO ass. Good stuff.

Substitute "Tennessee" for "Chicago" and that;s what I listen to. No happy endings for the Vols or the Titans.

Patrick acting that way is part of his schtick. He doesn't take himself seriously. I've met him a few times and he's amazed he's paid to do what he does.
