Yeah, won't be long before he's rookie of the year, and maybe even MVP.

That's the talk these days.

But let E(xcuses)13 get his rocks off on some Sports Illustrated article that's been in the works for a month. When did SI's standards drop so low that they feature guys who throw exactly as many INTs as touchdowns?

"Colts quarterback Andrew Luck got the cover of Sports Illustrated this week, but the NFL has named the guy drafted right behind him as the best offensive rookie for the month of November."

Damn everytime I see that pic I get the george of the jungle song in my head.

And true, what He probably dosent realize is SI has probably been working on a similiar cover story about Griffin since the Thangsgiving game.

I like Peter King the guy who wrote the article on Luck in SI, that being said he has said 3 times so far this season in print in that very same magazine that Tebow would be replacing Sanchez as the Jets QB.

With the way things are going for the jets I'd make the change, Sure Tebow sucks but can it get any worse than ass eating Sanchez? Their seson is done anyway try something different, and unlike Tebow Sanchez has had a few years to prove himself as a starter, and He fucking sucks.

Nope. But I'm done arguing with the hardcore RG3 nutswingers about it, like you and Levy. There's no purpose in arguing with blind nutswingers. Luck even destroyed the Dolphins in front of your own eyes, even that didn't make you see the reality. In the end the facts will speak for themselves.

The funny part is you've already admitted that Luck is better than RG3, on mistake. You stated the Skins have a better running game than the Colts. Well the facts also state that both teams have about an equal defense. So what's left to attribute the fact that the Colts have more wins? The most important position in football, the QB. You admitted it.

No You see I can be objective unlike yourself, not a fan of either nor have a reason to hate either, but numbers don't lie, RG3 has clearly been the better player to this point. Funny that you of all people mention "blind nutswingers", guess You just can't face facts. Oh and beating a team by a fucking FG is far from destroying them. Now the titans? they destroyed Miami, I think You mixed up Luck with Jake Locker.

Um no I said at the time Luck was finally playing better than RG3, Now we're back to the way it was first few games, and You know what happened then. There's a reason why RG3 has won the award twice.

You aren't being objective and haven't been all year. You saying you are not a fan of RLeaf3 is the same as me saying I'm not a fan of Luck. We can say it all we want, no one is going to believe it. You've been praising RLeaf since day one, celebrating his good games, and not even mentioning his bad ones. At least I acknowledge any time Luck had a bad game. You act like Rleaf is the greatest player of all time. Why? Don't know, don't care.

I prefer to look at the facts, such as total yardage thrown, game winning drives, or the most important one, wins.

Ok, so you already stated Washington has a better running game. The facts say both defenses are about even. So tell me, why do the Colts have two more wins than the Redskins? Does it not come down to the most important position in football, QB? Luck came into probably the most inexperienced and young team in the league and has made them playoff contenders. FACT. What has RG3 done along those lines?

Long story short, RG3 is the UNDISPUTED leader for rookie of the year right now.

Cover of sports illustrated is but a meaningless consolation prize.

I can't think of one Hall of Fame caliber QB in history who was in the bottom of the league in attempts like Rleaf3 is. Can you?

So now wer're on to passing attempts being a great way to gauge a QB's greatness.

1 Brett Favre 9,281
2 Dan Marino 8,358
3 John Elway 7,250
4 Warren Moon 6,823
5 Drew Bledsoe 6,717
6 Vinny Testaverde 6,701
7 Fran Tarkenton 6,467
8 Peyton Manning 5,960
9 Kerry Collins 5,669
10 Dan Fouts 5,604
11 Joe Montana 5,391

Of this list who is universally considered the best QB ever?, I'll give You a hint it's the guy with the least amount of passing attempts, I'd also wager He has fewer INT's than the other guys, and uh He's got as many rings as the rest combined, one less if You count Bledsoe's clipboard holder Ring.

He's second last in attempts among QBs who've started every game. SECOND LAST. You don't consider that the bottom of the league? Ok, let me clarify, what Hall Of Fame caliber QB has ever ranked in the bottom 2 of the league in attempts?

Do you have an answer???

for an entire season? Don't know, but I do know of middle of the road or flat out scrubs have led the league in passing attempts, Jon Kitna, jeff george, and don majkowski come to mind. Bottom line is a ton of attempts dosent equate to the better QB in fact less attempts with few turnovers can actually benefit the team, see joe Montana and steve young and their 5 championships for proof. Andrew luck has way too many attempts which is why his INT% is so high, Why You refuse to acknowledge this would be mind boggeling If I didn't already realize You were mentally challenged.

Ok since you won't answer, I will. NEVER. There's never been a HOF caliber QB that ranked at the bottom of attempts like RLeaf3 does. Why? Because if you have an elite QB, chances are you want the ball in his hands. You want to maximize your strength if you have a good QB by throwing passes. Granted, you don't necessarily want to lead the league in attempts, but you certainly don't want to be 2nd last, like RGLeaf.

And I never said leading the league in attempts would equal an elite QB. It most likely means your team trusts you and wants you to go win the game. That's the case with Luck. We are 7-4 on the back of Andrew Luck and Reggie Wayne.
see joe Montana and steve young and their 5 championships for proof
Why? I didn't see them ranking second last in pass attempts.
in fact less attempts with few turnovers can actually benefit the team
Not in this case. Colts are 7-4, Skins are 5-6. So your argument is dead in the water.
