The conspiracy theories over this game have been going on since the final buzzer. There's just one small problem.....The Russians were all over the Americans for the entire second period and outside of two shifts, the 3rd period as well.Gibsonite wrote:Just a tad TOO incredible,if ya know what I meanWOLF wrote:I'm Canadian and I still think that's the best hockey moment ever. The coach freaked out by pulling Tretiak because he wasn't used to the game being so close. Just like at the end when he had no clue when to pull teh goalie because they rarely lost. The Americans woin the game because of Jim Craig and a couple of good bounces. I love conspiracies, but this ain't one.Gibsonite wrote:Just a tad TOO incredible,if ya know what I meanWOLF wrote:I'm Canadian and I still think that's the best hockey moment ever. Judging by your comments, you didn't even watch the video.Crazy Levi wrote:A nice tidy package of nationalism, mullets, Al Micheals, the Olympics, and hockey, none of which I particularly give a shit about.
Still, I can understand why people remember this so fondly. I guess.
No I really can't.
