and now he tells the doctors to publish "6-9 months", because he thinks he will 'scare' teams into thinking he's coming back for the whole year next year

I would have found irony in it if it had happened in Denver. If the Lakers Amnesty his contract, (Which they should) he can get picked up by a contender. When he comes back, he's going to be at best a sixth man. Worse case, its going to be like when Magic came back. He wants another ring and you're not going to turn the Lakers into a contender over night.
