The Eagles conducted a workout for running back Felix Jones on Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.

Jones, who turns 26 on Wednesday, spent the last five seasons with the Cowboys, rushing for 2,728 yards and 11 touchdowns on 569 carries (4.8 ypc) and hauling in 127 receptions for 1,062 yards (8.4 ypr) and 11 scores.

Jones (5-10, 215) could appeal to the Eagles as depth behind LeSean McCoy and Bryce Brown. The Eagles dealt reserve Dion Lewis to Cleveland earlier in the offseason and did not draft a back.

He wouldn't be more than a depth option and return guy. His shelf life is pretty much over as a feature back.

I think if Felix can stay healthy he will be able to contribute on The Eagles this season.

The Eagles would of been better off if they would of signed Lolo Jones.

He worked out for the Patriots yesterday.
Don't think they want him as they seem to have a thing for Tampa Bay backs.

I remember Skip Clueless saying he would take Barber, Tashard Chocie and this clown over Peterson a few years go.
