Figured I'd create a separate thread to discuss this matchup.

They say defense wins championships and you have the league's number one defense taking on the leagues number one offense. Who takes it? I think Denver. They have too many offensive weapons and not enough on their offensive side of the ball to keep up.

As I posed in the NFL thread, I don't see even a defense as great as Seattle's stopping Denver, at least stopping Denver enough to outscore them -- Seattle's offense is not impressive, and Denver shut down the Patriots' offense, which was pretty decent.

That said, look at what the Giants did to the 2007 Patriots .... usually defense carries the day, but Denver's team is really balanced offensively -- more balanced than that 2007 patriots team.

This thread got off to a pretty good start by incorrectly naming at least one of the participants.

Ill just stick with the NFL thread.

Brilliance.

Seahawks are a hard team to nail down--- the team/city with the boulder on its shoulder. I think they squeeze out a victory because of two reasons, their defense and the return of Percy Harvin that no one has tape on.
