Wtf!
I start these threads!
Only kidding.
I have optimism going into this season. I was skeptical of Moyes, and he turned out to be worse than feared.
But with Gaal, I'm thinking a top 4 finish isn't out of reach, and a good cup run. I don't think we will challenge for the title. That will be between City and Chelsea. Of course, the transfer window is far from over, and I would noy be surprised to see a couple of new players come to United. There was a rumour about Welbeck going to Hull for 12m. Please let this be true!
Bit of a shocker that Pulis has left Crystal Palace.
Interested to see how Liverpool do. I'm thinking mid table considering they signed all those Southampton players!

Top four will be a dog fight for sure. Liverpool need another class striker. Your lot might be a bit iffy at the back. Arsenal are always in with a shout.
Two big overpriced?? Southampton signings-Shaw and Lallana both get injured.

Agreed. Top four is a must, now without all the European cup games. Could even do better than that, not win though. I'd rather let Welbeck go than Hernandez. Couple of defenders are necessary, it's funny that now Ashley Young is the first option for left wing back. LVG has a way of getting the best out of most players though. Liverpool had their chance last season, they will nowhere near this season, especially with Biter leaving. Southampton is a funny team, they sold about five of their best players and got nothing in return. Good luck with relegation battle then.

True.
When Evans is your best defender it does cause some concern to say the least! But I think there will be at least one defensive signing.
And yeah the Southampton due were overpriced. Especially as Gaal told Shaw he wasn't fit enough!

Just what you want from a defender who cost nearly 30m!

Shaw has a good start, not fit and injury. Somewhere in Russia Buttner is banging his head against the wall.

Not the best of starts, but I'm not worried. I think we will sign another defender or two.
Also not a great start for my fantasy team.
Actually, it was a great first week for my fantasy team.

Top in 4 leagues, and second in the other.
And about time we signed a defender.
We need a result against Sunderland.

Fuckin awful start!
Very poor decision to take off Herrera and bring on Fellaini. It should have been Fletcher off. He was shite all match.

I'm surprised Utd haven't cut their losses on Felliani. They could probably get £15 mill for him still.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a $46 million bid to bring both Javier Hernandez and Marouane Fellaini to White Hart Lane.
According to multiple reports in the UK, Spurs’ new boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to hand both Hernandez and Fellaini a fresh start in North London after the duo endured horror campaigns last season.

From one headcase to another. Balotelli to Liverpool? For around 16 mililion-worth the headache?

Di Maria for 50 million. Is he that good or just the going price?

He is very good, but that is a little ridiculous.
Everton have thrown away 4 points so far this season.
Kind of nervous about the game tomorrow. We will see what happens.

Just a draw. Thought we were the better team.
Mata looks quality, but I get nervous about the defense. Look shaky as anything, but that is not too surprising. Having 8 regulars out doesn't help.
All this talk about a winger, and what we need is a defensive midfielder, and a centre back.

Complete bellend, a bit in the Suarez category. Good player, but he wasn't very good at Citeh. If he plays well it's a bargain, but with him it's hard to tell.

Arse handed to us by Citeh. Wake up call maybe. Suarez at least put a full shift in, Balotelli looks like he can't be bothered half the time.

Man I'm hoping for a clear out of some players, and a couple of new signings.
Angel is a good player, but he isn't what was most needed.
Also, I'll judge at the end of the season.

Can't blame the Glazers for not spending money now, huge transfer window from United. Now, get everybody fit, get a decent formation and attack, attack, attack.

Happy we signed Blind, but the Falcao loan is a little strange. Great player mind you! I mean don't we already have enough attaching options!!! Glad to see Welbeck has gone, and for 16 million as well! Sad to see Hernandez go, thought he was a decent player. It still feels a little light in defense and centre midfielder. I guess we're going for the we will score three more goals than you formation!
