The Rich Eisen Show

Still in their first month, this is my favorite talk show on the air right now. It's obviously very NFL heavy but they cover other sports but usually due to the interest of their guests. I say "they" because like most radio shows on TV, the crew is almost as prominent as the host. The system/set up is very similar to The Dan Patrick Show but Rich Eisen's crew is much less douchebag-ish compared to the Danettes. Patrick is the one who suggested the show to Eisen and Directv.

I like the show mainly because the celebrity guests share their fandom and their stories, usually quite humorously, of growing up with the pain of their favorite shit team or the greatness of their favorite team's glory years.

I also like how it has a night time talk show feel when the guests are there but it doesn't have the crowd so the conversations are laid back and natural even if they're mainly there to plug a show, book or movie.

Since Eisen is involved in Thursday Night Football, he does the Thursday show in the stadium of the home team and he has a guest host on Fridays since he's usually flying back during the show.
