Only other team that I could add would be Florida State in NCAA football.

5 years ago I'd agree with you but with all the clippers controversies and griffins stardom...and the frontrunner mentality in LA.....I'm not sure they're scrutinized. ....nobody cares.

Kobe was out on a media tour recently and nobody cared.

The only other controversy I can think of is how much Doc Rivers &
his team cry & whine like babies after EVERY play that does not go

Griffin's stardom? Ah, great player, but its not like people go to a Clippers
game to see him play. And since he has decided to become an outside shooter, he has toned down his high flying act unless its an absolute gimme.
Its Chris Paul's team & he can only take them so far.

FSU was really only a target the last 2 years because they've been so good and ESPN hates them. Whoever is on top attracts that kind of attention. When FSU starts losing games again no one will care what happens in Tallahassee.

At the height of their last big run, yeah, people took shots. Same people took shots at Miami and Alabama when they were the best. I think it's more a case of "haters gonna hate" - whoever's on top draws attention, and gets put under the microscope. All of their stupid shit gets magnified, until someone else starts winning. But except amongst a handful of haters, Bowden had a pretty good rep as clean guy.

I bet FSU barely makes the news this year unless someone does something REALLY stupid, because we're probably just gonna be a good team, not an epic one. We lost, so the focus is elsewhere.
