Awful. NFL films made the NFL for me when I was a kid.

His vision along with his mixture of slow motion film, poetry and classical music helped build the mystical draw of the NFL. Before cable unveiled everything about the NFL, all you got were three games on Sunday(two at once) and a Monday night game. NFL Films was the only real outlet at the time for seeing inside the game or players on teams that weren't playing the Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Vikings or Dolphins because those were the only teams that seemed to be on TV during the 70s

NFL Films was the best thing to happen to the league. All my early memories, involving football, were the NFL Films.

NFL Films built the league as we know. Love all the classic footage with the great John Facenda doing the outstanding commentary. "The Autumn Wind is a Raider" So badass!
