Yogi-isms were the best. The guy was nearly a Mark Twain type of character when it came to quotable comments.
Well...maybe not Mark Twain brilliance but still.

I hope no one forgets he wasn't solely a Yankee. As a manager he led the Mets to the 1973 World Series.

Are you taking the piss over here? Yogi will always be remembered as a Yankee player and a Yankee manager.
The fact that he led the Mets to a WS in 73 & lost to the A's, well nobody is going to remember that. Maybe if the Mets won that WS, he might be remembered for that era.
What he accomplished with the Yankees might never be duplicated by any player. 10 WS titles is a massive accomplishment.
That and many other reason are why he returned to Old Timers Day in The Bronx.
