Yes or No? They got the talent. And Luke Walton has proved to be an excellent substitute for Steve Kerr.

It's mid November. Are they deep enough? Klay is hurt. Bogut will be hurt. The meat of the schedule is coming. It's going to be hard. It's early.

Yes. They aren't beating teams, they are crushing them. Steph's health will be the determining factor in the long run.

Steph Curry has drilled more three point shots than some NBA teams. Yes, its very early and injuries do happen. However, there hasn't been a guy this deadly from long range since prime Jesus Shuttlesworth.
And they've been painted as a paper champion because of what Cleveland's roster looked like during the Finals and the first round dismissal of San Antonio. The response? Utter destruction. To the point where a Twitter fight went down between franchises over the margin of defeat.

I realized I saw 2 of the Bulls losses live during that record breaking season. Both against the Pacers.

Warriors are what basketball is all about, or should be all about. Love their style and no egos. Would love to see them take 70+ wins, and I'm a Suns fan!!!

Teams like the Cavs and Clippers should shut up and play hoops. These franchises feel like they were so close to winning the title.
NEWSFLASH:
Neither was close and the Clips were eliminated before they could face
GS in the playoffs. Which gives Clips even less room to chirp.
Who cares in GS wins 70 games and the title again or if they win 60 and win the title again. What matters is who wins the final game of the season.
Right now it looks like no team can defeat GS once, let alone 4 times in a best of 7.

They could, health permitting, but I'd be surprised if they do. If they find themselves at 64-8 with a big lead for homecourt advantage it's going to be pretty tempting to start resting players.

As hot as CP3 was to start the game, the Clips always play the Warriors "hearing footsteps" coming from behind and it bites them in the ass every single time. The Warriors are a team that could be down by 30 points and come back and win by 10. Their bench isn't flashy, but every vet from Igoudala, Livingston, Speights, they all know their role and play it to a 't'. The Clippers, I'm still not sold on their bench as well as Doc Rivers being the right guy to run that team.

The only real asset they got for their bench is Paul Pierce. Josh Smith is garbage and Doc hates Lance Stephenson. Its still a paper thin team ran by guys that aren't too thrilled to play with each other and a center that shrunk away from having a larger role on the Mavs. Who thus far, have proven to be quite good.

He's been garbage all year.
He puts up these outside shots that clank & other team rebounds & run off a fast break. Those transition baskets are killing the Lakers.
Russell is playing some good defense but when he gets screened the secondary line of defense isn't there to help. Kobe won't help. Hibbert tries, but he is more of a rim protector than help on a play like that. Randall needs to step up. And Clarkson usually isn't there to help really not his job.
Actually would prefer Artest with the 1st unit & Kobe with the 2nd unit.

At the beginning of the year I would have said no chance because the west is tough and the league as a whole is much better than it was in 96. Now, I think they have a real shot and I'm rooting for them to do it.
The 96 Bulls are overrated. It was an expansion season which weakened the league and the talent pool was already thin before the expansion.
The 86 Celtics are the best team ever.

Its also a completely different game than the height of the Bulls' reign. One that's faster paced and features less physical contact.
The fact they can break a team's will within the first quarter is impressive.

It really brings home how difficult 70 wins is when you consider that after this amazing start they still need to win 49 of the next 61.

I want to see how they respond by the first loss. If it's like the 50 point demolition of the Grizzlies, the sky is the limit.

I think they may win 75. I'm dead serious.

Looking at their next 10 games, I wouldn't be surprised.

Barring a season ending injury to Curry, I am not ruling out 75 wins either. The funny thing is, Kerr isn't even on the bench coaching this thing! These kids are so insanely disciplined, they don't ever take their foot off the gas peddle. I was hearing the Curry/Pete Maravich comparison's last night, very accurate assessment.

Have they gone on a hardcore road trip like the Lakers are doing now?
If they haven't, that will be the true test.
Also, they are getting banged up left & right.
Going to be tough, but I think it could be done.

Currently the team is in the middle of a 2 week road trip 7 games in 12 days. I'd say that qualifies as "hardcore".
Reports are Klay sprained his ankle late last night. Team does not play until Friday(Boston). If Klay misses that game or additional games, a loss might
finally happen.

If Clay is out Igoudala or Livingston get the nod and will perform fine. Clay was gunning big time last night, man.

Warriors will sweep 2-5 King in the finals, that's what matters
It is so awesome the next great team is from a small market team, a lot of Warrior fans in LA now

Small market is not San Fran/Oakland pal. OKC, Milwaukee, Portland would fit that bill.
