What are some of the best books about sports that you have read?
My favorite sports books are:
Friday Night Lights, A Town, A Team, And A Dream - Buzz Bissinger
The Boys Of Winter - The Untold Story of a Coach, a Dream, and the 1980 US Olympic Hockey Team - Wayne R Coffey (I read this book once a year)
Gunslinger - The Remarkable, Improbable, Iconic Life Of Brett Favre - Jeff Pearlman
I also loved Where Men Win Glory - The Pat Tillman Odyssey, but I wouldn't call it a sports book.
