He's right there only without the HOF teammates Bird had so I highly doubt he wins 3 titles in the next few years the way Bird did, Porzingis and him are a scary duo, Def not a bad duo to build around to try and win some titles should be an interesting team to watch, if i was a GM or head coach that's a situation i'd look forward to for sure.

I can see Cuban spending the $$ just have to spend it correctly to build around both players

He's the closest thing we've seen since Bird. Incredible court vision and basketball IQ. I'm excited, Doncic is one helluva fun player to watch!


That being said I think a lot of people have forgotten or are unaware of Larry Bird's complete skill set. He was the closest thing to a real life superhero, making the impossible a reality. Some of those passes he made by just deflecting the ball still don't seem humanly possible.

He's a very good shooter/scorer but he lacks in other areas. Bird was a great all around player. He could shoot, pass and played fantastic defense. Doncic is just a great scorer right now, but he's very young, lot's of room to improve and grow his game.

We'll see how good he really is when the playoffs start. It becomes a different game in the post season. The defenses get tougher and more physical, it becomes more difficult to score.
