It's too bad that the Q might've been "respectfully asked to leave" WIG. How could she not have seen it coming, with all of the negative publicity she was bringing on herself? Also, someone may have resented the fact that they kept calling her the "frontwoman", when she did nothing more than wave a tambourine around and add some decorative vocals. If I were her I would be feeling ass out right now, since, if she doesn't have that, what does she have to offer? Some dubious make up skills, and the fact she can buff fingernails (and an odd rock star's cock) like no one's business?

Trent has always seemed to have rapper envy...have you seen some of his pics from the early nineties?? It's almost cute, wholesome country boy discovers a love for dirty, yummy westcoast hip hop (ok, ok, I love it too) Anyways...like I said in my last post, he could've done something amazing with the right female vocalist-after all, I really believe that the combined talents would speak (or sing) for themselves, regardless of the genre (hip hop/college rock/folk/R&B/soul, etc...)

Apparently, his biggest flaw in searching for this elusive vocalist is the fact that maybe he's been looking with his dick and not with his head...it's dumb to do that, since he has to know that not everyone is into what he's into-market research doesn't mean hiring the girl he would want to dip his wick into, but her talent, stage presence, professional chemistry...approaching it from a place of respect and mutual ideas about the desired sound/look.

If he only know, if he had any idea whatsoever, how many genuinely talented woman and men out there are doing a simultaneous *facepalm* to his career seppuku, it might actually cause that hardened man to feel an emotion he hasn't felt in a while-shame. What a luxury it must be to give a string of lackluster shows and then retire to his gorgeous Bev Hills bunker with a (I'm so sorry, but it's the truth) talentless poptwat and expect people to take him seriously? Does he really think he can overproduce her into something salvageable? I want to believe, still, that he is not that foolish, regardless of all signs to the contrary.

It might be forgivable in some other person- a noob, a clueless hack who's just made it to the scene and blew up, but not him. He knows better, no matter how clouded his senses must be by any number of substances or the Q's "fanny fumes".

He needs to buck up, grow up, shut the fuck up and stop squandering his talent-before karma decides to take out her "big boy paddle" and really whip his ass with it...

Oh, I don't think she quit. Nor do I think there was anything respectful about it. I don't even think this is a stunt.

I think she skipped out on them one too many times. She's been on the road living the high life for months instead of rehearsing/recording with the band. I think Francis FiveAndAHalf got fed up with West Indian Girl not being her priority & unloaded her.

Cold hard fact of life & even Reznoid would back me up on this: If you are trying to make it in the music business, nothing & no one can come before the band. She's decided to become a camp follower, probably with the idea that she'd have a solo career & wouldn't need the band anymore. FrancisWhatever decided to make it sooner rather than later. I'm sure it was not a polite exit.

Furthermore, I'll bet anyone that Trent is making her all kinds of promises in terms of helping her with her career & never delivers on any of them. If we ask nicely, I'm sure Apple of Sodom would repost the links to the Charlie Clouser posts where he talks about Trent's empty promises. As someone else here said, Trent's name doesn't carry the clout or the cachet that it once did. If he'd had that kind of influence, Nothing Records would have been a success. Somehow I don't see her career as being a priority for him since nobody's career except his is a priority for him.

So now she's got nothing else going on in her life except him. His wants. His needs. His career. No pesky ambitions to distract her. Nothing to get in the way. Her entire life can revolve entirely around him & there isn't even a way better looking ex boyfriend hanging around to bother him.
