Evereything in this song is perfect...Mariqueen voice perfectly fits the instrumentals, trent voice would never fit in this song, but she is just too great. Every second in this song is perfectly used, from 00:00 to 7:04 everything is epic, the piano, synths, electro beat, and guitar at the end make it even more epic...One of the best trent works for sure

• Anyone who has followed Trent Reznor's musical career knows that what you say rings true. The guy is totally about challenging convention, breaking social norms and pushing the envelope. I knew this wouldn't just be another NIN song, and it's not, it's very different. Of course, it still has his trademark industrial sound but the tone and the addition of female vocals radically change the sound. You can see it in the name. She's the Angel, he's the Destroy.

• Why don't you girls admit this has nothing to do with the quality of the music HTDA are producing one way or the other and everything to do with your personal dislike of Mariqueen and by extension what you seem to feel was a betrayal by Trent. You've all been smack talking her longer than they've been working together on HTDA and you smack talk her on videos that have nothing to do with HTDA and if Trent was to "keep her out of the studio", you'd keep on smack talking her.

• I like this. I can't understand why real Trent Reznor fans wouldn't. The first time I heard this I would've been able to pick it out as one of his projects.

Ok,this is the type of stuff I was refering to in an earlier post; all this mindless gushing about HTDA. It just seems so....contrived. BTW I noticed the comments section of The Space In Between -HTDA's only official video has been disabled. I wonder why?

Anyway here is a project similar to HTDA. The detractors greatly out number the supporters in the comments section. But the supporters gush less and the detractors just say "wow this sucks".

No, I didn't read the comments under that WIG video. If you don't watch the painfully bad lip synched video, the song isn't that bad. Not great, but a lot better than most of HTDA's nonsense. Mariqueen's voice isn't great but at least she is allowed to sing in something other than an over-enunciated whisper.
I never looked at the comments too closely. I just noticed if they were allowed or not. There was quite the war of words going on at You Tube it would seem. Yikes!

I don't understand the point in devoting your entire life to some band that doesn't even care about you, going to 21 shows and giving everything up. Trent doesn't want to fuck them. Just a quick message to apologise for the delay of the BBB edit. I’ve been away for a few days but hopefully it will be finished by mid next week at the latest.
