Yes, I remember one who was not model looking and on the heavier side who got to bone at least JLT, Kee Marcello and one of the guys in Skid Row in 88-89.

Have you ever seen actual groupies? The ones that wait around for the band after the show? They're never hotties. Music videos sold a fantasy. I remember an interview with a very popular singer I forget who that was asked if he could have sex if he wanted to after every show on tour. He said "You can, but it won't necessarily be with the most beautiful person in the world." At least he was honest.

There's a scene in the History of the Eagles doc where Azoff filmed afterparty guests from Pittsburgh in the early days. They're basically 3 very average-looking girls who complain that the band members smell like beer and they do NOT look DTF.
