I think back in the day-way back in the day- we all might have thought he looked 'aight. Back when he was muzzled by Interscope that is.

She is so ostentatious! Love your posts, Enchantment . I agree with your comments on TR in the Fragile era. He was portrayed as a quiet, introspective loner that was musically gifted, shining with integrity, anti-hollywood and all that it stood for, and appreciative of his fans. This of course, has all turned out to be a lie. John Malm may have embezzled funds, but he was a master puppetmaster at pulling the persona strings.

I read a book by Manson a while back. Basically in the late 90's Manson was selling albums and gaining fame while Reznor was enjoying the night life of NOLA. (Reznor sold it as he was severely depressed and addicted at that time. Ha!) Anyway Reznor would get mad at Manson and would stop talking to him then Manson would apologize profusely. Manson even groveled a good bit in his book and described Reznor as being like an older brother to him. They would be friends again. Then Reznor would get angry. He wrote Starfuckers about Manson. Then they made up and did the Starfuckers video together. Then Reznor got angry at Manson again and blamed it on Manson "using". Finally Manson got tired of it and wrote him off.
Fun Fact-When Reznor took Q to the Star Trek premier-Manson was there with his date. Manson saw them and left. The paparazzi asked Manson why he was leaving before the movie started and he said: "...to get more booze and drugs."

It looks like he's wearing a girdle, but hey, at least he's doing something fairly normal...gaining some major sympathy weight.
