Well considering in his own words he had sex with MANY women during the WHAM! years, I'd say he was bi.
I recall in that documentary that came out after he passed away that he wasn't interested in women. It was said that they had a difficult time shooting the video for that Christmas song he did because for the video shoot with the woman they were suppose to be a couple and that it made him physically ill to have to kiss her. Maybe my memory is off or perhaps it wasn't true but that's how I recall it, anyway.

I think he was dating women right up to the Faith days. I believe he was actually seeing the girl in the "I Want Your Sex" video.
While I have always thought gay men were disgusting (or at least the act) I always thought George was pretty cool. Amazing talent!

The cop who busted him in the Beverly Hills Park was my best friend in grade school! I think he sued him after he wrote that song about the incident and won so he's living pretty comfortably. He was a great looking guy about 6"4 and jacked and they knew George would go for him and he did.
