Labor Pains: 3/10. I don't know why I keep doing that to myself. Wait, I do. Lindsay Lohan is pretty hot.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop - 4/10
I only wanted to see it because it was filmed in some local malls.
Not as funny as I hoped.

Gran Torino - Incredibly entertaining and cool watching an old Eastwood evolve as a human being.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

I was going to the Burlington Mall quite a lot when they were filming that, as it's about 5 minutes from my house.Facedown wrote:Paul Blart: Mall Cop - 4/10

Seeing Kevin James riding around the mall on a seqway was a pretty cool sight to see, but I don't even wanna give that movie a chance. Everyone i've talked to said it was horrible.
Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Cable Guy 7/10 Somehow I had never seen this movie before, and I finally got around to watching it today. I actually quite enjoyed it. I think it could have been better if they had went that tad bit extra and made it a full-on jet-black twisted R-rated comedy. I like what they went for, though.

Straight to Hell - 2/5 - It's not that good, just ok. But I kinda liked it anyway. I like a lot of the people in it, their characters, a few good scenes, some good dialogue, the plot is sorta like a slow Twilight Zone episode and it's one of only two things Courtney Love has ever done that doesn't make me wanna puke.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Just watched The Lost. 5/10. The book was much better, as is the norm, but I thought the flick was okay.

I just watched 'Knowing' 1/5
What the fuck was that movie about? How the hell did it come to this?
See the movie would've been okay. Like it started out with a pretty cool premise. It evolves into an end of the world, Revelations type thing. With something to do with Albino aliens or were they supposed to be angels? Spaceships, and another planet. Cute seeing the tree in the end. Was that supposed to represent mankind's introduction to sin?
Stupid fucking movie with too many questions. And what the fuck was with the rocks?

Absolute Power 3/10
It was just too unbelieveable.
The President killed some bitch?
Clint Eastwood ( while a badass ) has the skills to be "ninja like" at his age, scaling walls and shit?
Oh, and the ending sucked.
Stupid fucking movie.

Fast and Furious--Meh, total pander job to the 12-20 year old age set. Mindless violence, fast cars, chicks in skin tight clothes, very weak plot, the usual. Give it a 4.5/10.
Watchmen--Odd! Mildly interesting storyline, actually somewhat refreshing. Definately not a movie I'd want to re-watch often, but not too bad... Then there's the problem my 23 year old step-daughter pointed out... "How long is that smurf lookin' dude gonna walk around with his dick haning out?" 5.5/10

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
I finally got around to seeing the new Harry Potter. It dragged at a few points, and the cgi sucked ass, but was still enjoyable in it's own right. I'll give it a 6.5/10.

Somehow I really got into Zooey Deschanel lately and watched two of her movies. One was called, uh, "All The Real Girls", I think, and it was pretty awkward and boring: 5 or 6/10, I guess. The other one was called "Winter Passing" and deserves 7/10. She can really pull it off with those damaged druggie weirdo roles.

The Midnight Meat Train ; 1/2 out of five. i can't believe someone could take a perfectly good Clive Barker story and turn it into a pile of shit like this.
Inside (not the French movie i reviewed earlier); -25 out of five. can't even tell you how it ended. so painfully boring and ridiculous we finally turned it off.
so, yeah...this wasn't the best movie weekend i've ever had.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
It IS boring, and it kills me to say that, because I like David Green a lot as a director. One problem I had with it was Paul Schneider. Maybe it's because I don't like him, but I didn't think he was that good in it, and I don't think he's a good actor.SebastianLeeDanzig wrote:Somehow I really got into Zooey Deschanel lately and watched two of her movies. Teen Wolf has been on TV each of the past several days. I wish I had been in high school at a time when it was perfectly acceptable to wear a t-shirt that says "What Are You Looking At, Dicknose?" 7/10

Domino starring Keira Knightly, co-starring Mickey Rourke. Tons of cameos.
This film has some of the worst directing I've ever seen in a relatively big budget, and highly promoted film. Virtually every scene has to e explained three times to the viewer, in a row, and then explained again later. Something happens, then someone talks about it happening, then you see the video if it happening from another point of view, or the same view but in slow motion, then the Keira Knightly does commentary about the scene over the top of the replay, which is supposed to be the transcript of her interrogation. This happens so many times, I nearly turned off the film. Rourke sleep walks through this film.
It does have one saving grace, you get a short sex scene with Keira Knightly and 'Choco" (who's playing himself) when they are both fucked on mescaline in the dessert, and you get to see her tits. Other than that, terrible film for a big budget flick.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Crackheads Gone Wild - 1.5/5 - I've seen many other types of "heads" go way fucking wilder than these Crackheads. Even potheads.
Very little funny dialogue, most of it sad/depressing/boring/badly produced. But it was still better than many big budget shitfests I've seen. They probably paid each crackhead about $10 each for the 'story'/warning/psychobabble, the whole flick ran about $2000 for production it was still better than a lot of high budget SFX oozing complete shit.
Crackheads Gone Wild... the shit stripe on the wall in the Zookeepers crackhouse and the crackhead getting fucked from behind, while smoking crack and doing her interview at the same time are the high points of an otherwise nothing great indie anti-drug flick.
Turner & Hooch - 2.5/5 - Sorta funny dog, not a great plot for a cop/dog flick but it didn't really suck either, Tom Hanks is 'just below average annoying' on the Tom Hanks Annoying scale.
