my favorite movie of the year! i want a minion army of my own
watched Nightbreed last night. 9/10, it's like mental comfort food for me, plus Narcisse cracks me the hell up. yeah, i'm easy to amuse like that.
"I'm afraid of what I've become. Tell them they should be too."
Blood In The Face (1991) - 7/10. A documentary about the Aryan Nations, Klan and American Nazi Party. Interesting archival footage and interviews with George Norman Rockwell also included.

Are you sure it's not George Lincoln Rockwell that is included?

Saw: The Final Chapter in 3D.
Lies. It's not the final chapter. They probably just lost count of the number they were up to. It's a piece of crap, basically. The whole 'concept' and poor excuse for a narrative could've been written on a napkin. I can get quite squeamish when it comes to gore, but this film hardly made me flinch-I expected more from it,at least in the sick gore department.
It's just an excuse to carry on the films. 3/10.

It's a prequel, it sucks, it has twice as much action as the first film...so about 20 seconds worth compared to the original's 10 seconds worth...90% of the shots in the trailer do not appear in the film...the dog is the most likable character...I am glad I didn't pay money for it.
The typical movie going public, the suckers that they are...it's on target to do $50+ million this weekend, probably outgrossing the record breaking weekend of Jackass last weekend...It did $20 million on Friday alone...expect it to have a steep drop on Sunday, like Jackass did...but still...on a budget of a Subway foot long....that is some nice change.
Didn't read your review until after I made mine. 20 seconds was spot on.

Did you notice Michael Moore as one of the interviewers? It was back when he still cared about documenting things, and not making shitty right wing bashing propaganda.
Sure did. He was basically unobnoxious in this one.
I can see why people here dig it. It's '80s cheese and I'm sure a lot of y'all are pretty nostalgic; actually I know you are. Objectively it's pretty crappy but I did enjoy it for what it was. The second half wasn't nearly as good as the first bit, though.
3 awful, generic Fastway songs out of 10.

Fanboys (2008) - 8/10. Film about some guys that storm Skywalker Ranch to be the first to see Star Wars Episode I. Jristen Bell, the little brother from Just Friends, Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Danny Trejo, Danny McBride, Dan Fogler (the main dude from Balls Of Fury) and a lot of cameos. Funny flick.
Kids In The Hall - Death Comes to Town (2010). 10/10. Watched the whole mini series on a marathon on IFC. Excellent.
Friday The 13th Part 3. 7/10- I think it is "classic Jason". The chicks are super hot, for the early 80s. Jason is good in this one, cuz he has the mask and also he runs after ppl, and doesn't just walk then magically show up somewhere.
